Lillie and Moose - G+Pet of the Month October

Lillie and Moose are leaving Greenwich Village for the quiet of Sunnyside!

Take me-ow out of the city, take me-ow to the burbs. Hello, I’m Lillie… and curled up here beside me is my sweet brother Moose. I'm the chatty one. Moose is the strong, silent type. We've been renting on Bleecker Street with our Mommy for 5 years as she worked and saved to buy us a home of our own in Sunnyside!  While we loved the Village vibe, those fire, police and ambulance sirens can really get on our nerves.

Our Mommy is a big saver and just told us she's saved up enough to buy us our very own apartment in Sunnyside, which she calls the suburbs, and which she says we will love even more than the Village. Moose is super excited but I'm not so sure. Actually, I'm very nervous about this big change - I've always thought of myself as Village girl. I'm also suspicious because Mommy is a huge baseball fan... she never misses a game... and I suspect she just wants to be near City Field, which is way easier to get to from Queens. Moose utterly disagrees with me... he says Queens is the new hip and happening place... and that we'll be on the cutting edge (whatever that is). Mommy says the board package has been submitted and we should be in our new home just after Halloween! She is very excited to own a home of our own and promises to give us more treats with the money she is now saving by not throwing it away on rent!
