Le Bilboquet at 20 E 60th St

What began as an intimate night spot on Manhattan’s Upper East side with 35 seats blossomed in 2013 into a larger 100+ seat hot spot for regulars, royals, celebrities, artists, editors, Euros and Americans. Everyone united in good, fanciful fun. This French-inspired, global bistro serves timeless glamor, impeccable food, charming cocktails, and an exhilarating energy.  Le Bilboquet has been the spot for decades where discerning people from around the globe gather to share meals and memories– surrounded by art, a personable waitstaff and crisp linens. Celebrating life’s moments is its raison d’être. this restaurant never compromises in raising the bar to meet its loyalists’ expectations.

As a starter, I highly recommend the tuna tartar with the sesame soy sauce and for the entree I would strongly suggest the owner’s own Cajun chicken, seasoned with Cajun spices, served with a side salad with beurre Blanc dressing and fries which is delicious. They make the classic Peppe pasta, and in my humble opinion it is the best pepe found in the city.  For dessert, don’t forget the classic Bilboquet chocolate mousse, which is phenomenal!

If you’re looking for a good brunch with a European vibe this is the place to go.
